OSG4LIFE! - Still Fighting!
Another post so you know I'm still here..... Well it's been working a lot throwing garbage and making www.surreycans.ca happen for my spare time. I throw garbage for a living and it's going to be an awesome battle of traditional cans vs Toter apt style driver only ones.
If Toters win in the different cities than regular garbage men jobs are cut, "saving money/exterminating jobs". Personally I want my mail delivered by hand to my home and my garbage picked up by hand to keep jobs here.
This site is not SUPPOSED to be super awesome, btw. I'm happy to link to iVote, awesome news sites, or whatever but certainly don't want such responsibilities of an iVote ap or managing such amounts of data.
Epsilon OSG Empire has taken a crazy beating from Seriously Enlightened, I've been working a lot and haven't had much game time to defend the empire. Even if I lose everything I can always restart again no problem, I'm not worried.
We all fight how we can but it's much more effective when everyone has a say in everything going on. Every 4-5 years per term is simply not enough. Allowing some stranger to vote for you is not acceptable alone. Voting ourselves is a goal I'll hold till I'm dead. Our "leaders" aren't making the correct decisions, how can they when they got 360 million to worry about???? (N America). Let corps make your decisions for you and not many visible problems for these puppets /w heavy benefit packages.....
So while I found this new website for saving a traditional industry from extinction (thinking of support our troops stickers to sell /w a can).....our leader just kick back, make all the wrong moves, and then get huge pensions for screwing things up....awesome.
I'm just checking in here to say all is well with our empire. Cities can be rebuilt (Grepolis), planning for the future is important though. If you allow the govt or some corp to plan it for you, you might not like where they take you.
In garbage land, it'll go from 2 guys per truck (to which it's already cut 1 guy for some days to save a boss money as 1 guy picks up 2 guy's worth of work, standard scam), the Toter will cut that 2nd guy permanantly, then eventually, /w new driver only trucks, the remaining guy, as awesome as he is, will also be cut from the route and on EI/Welfare as more and more routes switch to driver only routes....
...but the future I see is www.surreycans.ca being on each can I still serve, beer cases stamped /w a stamper 100 times/case, and awesome You Tube videos of our boys in action throwing their best out while supporting traditional cans delivered to homes, eliminating the need for starved out citizens w/o proper cans to blindly accept the deal our "leaders" are making "for" us.
If Toters win then it's garbage service every 2 weeks, bi-weekly service. Pure bullshit. If traditional cans win out, we got more routes to work, more jobs for people. I mean, the city and contractor in Surrey BC Canada (IPI/EmTerra) actually think, like the Canada Post, that they can "save money" by cutting jobs and make more profits....
....problem is if you cut the jobs and the city see's it, yer budget is now cut to match and yer STILL not ahead! Better to keep the jobs when our economy needs them the most.
I'm not against automation, just against jobs being cut. With little to no jobs left, I will fight for my Postal and Garbage brothers & sisters.
....to arms my fellow warriors! We have a kingdom to defend!
